Swedish Secretary Ref. 23040
Swedish secretary from 1840 made of pine. The piece of furniture was bought from the first owners (it was in the family from the very beginning). The piece of furniture was specially made by the owner's ancestor to fit a small country house in the 19th century. Over the years, the lock on the secretary's lid has been replaced with a newer one, so that it does not interfere during work. The previous lock was similar in appearance to the lock in the upper door (information from the owner). In the upper part there is a cupboard with one shelf. There are 2 small drawers below. In the lower part, inside the secretary, there are small compartments (8 pieces) and drawers (11 pieces). A very well thought out and complicated design. All in ultramarine color. Below the bureau there are 2 smaller drawers in one row and 2 large ones in two rows. Outside grey colour. Brass handles. 4 keys.
