Antique Gustavian chest of drawers in black. The piece consists of two stacked pieces. Beneath the top is a wide molding with decorative dentils and vertical milling. Quarter-columns sit on the sides. The chest of drawers has four spacious drawers, each locked with a lock (original, working, overlay lock), with one key included. Each drawer features a decorative panel and brass handles. The piece rests on massive, sturdy legs connected by a frame (the frame is integrated with the bottom section). The frame features decorative elements such as dentils and rhombuses. The piece is crafted from oak (the drawer fronts and body) and pine (the back). Country of origin Denmark.
